Architectural drawings and related documentation for projects by the firm established as Yuncken, Freeman Brothers, Griffiths and Simpson. Most projects in this series are identified by a number assigned by the firm, and entered into the database as YFA job 'N'. 

Units 1-16 hold documentation files about YFA projects are controlled by YFA job number and project name.  The quantity and complexity of these files varies, but may contain additional drawings and architect's notes; correspondence with clients, state and local authorities, contractors and suppliers; contracts (including variations), specifications and certifications; site photographs; correspondence and records about purchase of fixtures, furniture, equipment and artworks.  Samples of materials and brochures are scattered throughout the files.   These units may be requested into the Reading Room.

Remaining units comprise architectural drawings for YFA projects controlled by YFA job number and project name. Additional information captured in the database includes, address, client, project name and type of project (residential, commercial, etc) as well as the media used when creating the drawings.  Architectural drawings may be requested in the online system, but accessed by appointment.  Archives staff will contact you to arrange a suitable time.

Records created by Yuncken Freeman Architects are controlled by several reference numbers at the Archives, and parts of each job may be distributed across these reference numbers.  Please see series 1987.0050, 1987.0051, 2018.0077 and 2018.0079.  The majority of photographs are within series 2018.0115.
