Contains Disher family historical notes, and many files relating to Strathfieldsaye and the history of Gippsland, including mographs and articles by local authors. The collection also includes a research paper by Frank Strahan, later University Archivist. Contains photographs (1875-c1900) of Aboriginal residents from Ramahyuck Mission Station, the neighbouring property, as well as photographs of Reverand Haugenauer and family to which the Disher family was related. Some photographs of scarred tress are also found within the collection. The property was bequeathed to the University by Harold Clive Disher. Students of both agriculture and history undertook projects there, particularly in the ten years from 1977. Notes relating to several History workshops, and resulting student essays are held with the collection, along with occasional materials added when found during works by the University's buildings department. 17 metres Business, organisations
