| This series comprises inwards and outwards correspondence from and to Max Cooke, Dean of the Faculty of Music, for the years 1975-1977 and inwards and outwards correspondence from George Loughlin, Ormond Professor of Music, for 1974. The arrangement of the records is alphabetical, generally via sender or recipient of the correspondence and in some cases, according to the role or title name of the recipient or sender, e.g. "Buildings", "Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research)" etc. In addition, there are (again alphabetically arranged) subject and correspondence files relating to a broad range of Faculty matters that provide a good overview of Faculty activities and functions for the period spanning 1967-1979. Subject matter includes, but is not limited to: recitals, performances and concerts; correspondence with senior University staff; staff circulars; meetings / minutes / agendas; budgets; building issues; staffing issues; student issues and so on. |
