2013.0120 SUBSTITUTE CARE FOR YOUTH PROJECT [1960-1971] Creator(s): Citizens Welfare Service Of Victoria [1946-1996], Social Policy Archive [1993-1997] This series comprises a report, in two parts, funded by the Myer Foundation and which addresses in part 1, the feasibility of using private families for substitute care for youth. The second part examines the needs of secondary school students requiring care away from home. In addition to two copies of each part of the report, the series contains various reference papers collected by the two authors Julie Wood and Wendy Weekes, during their research. These latter records are held in files. The records were originally collected and organised by the RMIT Social Policy Archive and arranged into two series, prior to their transfer to UMA.
