Series UM312, Registrar's Correspondence Series consists of files arranged predominantly by annual single number and subject. It is a large and comprehensive series representing a major proportion of the activities of the University's Central Administration over nearly a century. Records relate to subjects and services such as accommodation, accounts, University council, matriculation and arrangements for exams, schools, academic departments and curricula, regulations and statutes, and so on.  Finding aids for specific years are available by request to archives staff - please contact archives@archives.unimelb.edu.au

NOTE:  Please request by file, noting the file number and title. Finding aids indicate files carried over thus (see 19 xx) and in such cases it is necessary to request the latest year.  Please also note, not all the listed files are held by the Archives, and a small number have been separated out as staff files in other series.
