This acquisition comprises: Eleven documents: correspondence (1812-1819) principally from Martha Ann Wiltens Andree (nee Richards) to her husband Johannes Frederick Wiltens Andree (d1819) and a copy of a will. They are annotated by Peter and Lorna Hayward as letters 31a, 43a, 44a, 50a, 52a, 55a, 55b, 65a, 67a in reference to the "Index to the Surinam Letters". Comprises one bound file of the first transcript of the original correspondence and papers of the Hayward and Wiltens Andree families (2011.0031). The transcripts are typewritten with handwritten pencil and ink annotations.
