This series contains the personal papers of Joseph B. (Jeff) Hanson; from the Bible presented to him on his eighth birthday by his Grandmother, through his school and university years, to his death in 1971. Of special interest is his Oxford period, his PhD thesis and his letters to Louise Dyer. Business records from 1980s and 1990s when Margarita M. Hanson and Davitt Moroney were Président Délégué. The records were found on a shelf in Kenneth Gilbert's office at Editions de l'Oiseau-Lyre. This series of files contains letters received at Editions de l'Oiseau-Lyre as well as Secretarial copies of outward letters in reply. The Secretarial copies were often typed on the back of pamphlets due to paper shortages and are fragile.
