Women For Survival
History : Women for Survival was founded during the Pine Gap Women's Peace Camp in 1983 to protest against nuclear power and US bases in Australia. They ran national conferences in Adelaide in 1984 and Melbourne in 1985 and another camp in Canberra in 1986 when the Pine Gap lease was due for renewal. The Women for Survival group in Melbourne disbanded in 1987. This collection is No.71 of the Victorian Women's Liberation and Lesbian Feminist Archive
