Women's Studies Centre
History : Established in 1984 at 274 George St, Fitzroy, the Women's Studies Centre was a feminist collective set up to provide a service for students and teachers of women's studies. It aimed to support the development of courses and become a publisher of women's writing. The WSC was funded by the Commonwealth Employment Program but disbanded after about twelve months when the funding ran out. This collection is No.15 of the Victorian Women's Liberation and Lesbian Feminist Archive
