History : The Veterinary Science Site Development Committee was first appointed by the Vice Chancellor in Apr 1962. The committee was concerned with the management and development of the veterinary science site at Parkville, Vic., held in trust between the University and the Minister for Agriculture. The site also contained buildings occupied by the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute and the CSIRO. The Committee was renamed in June 1964 to reflect the change of nomenclature of the site to the Veterinary Science Precinct. The last documented meeting of the Committee was the 27 Nov 1980.
