Lienert, Tania
Biography: Tania Lienert was born and raised in Woomera, South Australia and worked in journalism, Community Arts, University Teaching and Research and the Public Service. Lienert was awarded a BA (Hons) in 1993. Her Honours thesis was on 'Lesbian Political Activism'. She completed a PhD in 2003 with the thesis 'Relating Women: Lesbian Experience of Friendship.' Lienert was a lesbian activist, researcher and a lecturer in Women's Studies at university and from 1987 to 2004 she was politically active in the Women's Liberation Movement in SA and Victoria.This is No. 135 of the Victorian Women's Liberation and Lesbian Feminist Archives
