Lesbian Open House
History : Lesbian Open House began in Melbourne in June 1980 as an informal introduction place for women attending the Lesbian Action Group for the first time. When LAG disbanded in November 1980, Open House continued to meet regularly to provide lesbians with a discussion group. Two coordinators facilitated discussions. When the Women's Liberation building closed in 1992 Open House moved to several venues including upstairs at the Smith St Bar and bistro.
