Cox, Leonard Bell
Biography: Cox graduated MB,BS 1916 and MD 1920 from Melbourne, and was Beaney Scholar in Pathology in the latter year. He lectured in Neurological Pathology, was a Stewart Lecturer in Medicine in the 1930s and 1940s, was associated with the Pathology Museum. He was consulting neurologist to the Alfred and Queen Victoria hospitals. An art collector, he was active in the National Gallery Society, the National Gallery and Cultural Centre Committee, and the Felton Bequest Committee. He was born in 1894 and educated at Wesley College.
