History : A Lesbian Reconciliation Study Circle was formed in Melbourne in February 1994 by a group of lesbians interested in engaging with the issue of racism against Aboriginal Peoples and in learning more about Aboriginal society and the impact on it from British colonisation. The group met once a month for eight months working their way through the kit materials provided by the Reconciliation Council.
