Subject files maintained by Mr Fraser during his time as Opposition spokesman on labour matters, during the time of the Whitlam Labor Government. Files deal with employment and industrial relations issues including Liberal Party policy development, proposed industrial inspectorate, amendments to the Conciliation and Arbitration Act, NSW power dispute (Sep- Oct 1973), the Royal Commission on alleged payments to Maritime Unions, inflation, stevedoring industry, trade unions, secret ballots and wage indexation. Some items are currently held at the National Archives of Australia (see list for details). Formerly National Archives of Australia series M1275.
