Notes, essays and examinations from Oxford University. A collection of text book notes, essays and examination papers kept by Malcolm Fraser during the period he was an undergraduate student at Magdalen College, Oxford (1949-1952). The series provides insights into the nature and extent of Mr Fraser's reading in ethics, logic, political theory, economics and modern history. Many of the essays include personal observations. Also includes typescript draft of Liberal Party preselection speech and speaking notes for speech given at the Hamilton Temperance Hall on 11 November 1953. Formerly National Archives of Australia series M1405.
