Diaries: Eight diaries, covering the period from October 1911 until December 1918, recounting Neville Fraser's student days at Magdalen College, Oxford University (including descriptions of college sporting events and social occasions); holidays; and experiences during World War 1. The diaries also record Neville Fraser's responses to broader world events such as the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914 and the sinking of the ocean liner the Lusitania (7 May 1915). Photograph albums: The photograph albums include photographs of Magdalen College buildings, sporting events (particularly rowing and cricket) and students; a car trip to Central Australia in 1924 and the Fraser family, including Neville Fraser's children Lorraine and (John) Malcolm (Prime Minister of Australia from 1975-83). Personal papers and correspondence: There are a small number of personal papers, including an extract of Neville Fraser's birth certificate, a RAAF certificate of service and some correspondence. |
