| Edited transcript and microtapes of John Dunbar interview with Professor Howard K. Worner, conducted at Wollongong in late 1992. Audio tapes of, and edited transcripts of Jim Byth interview programme, 1993, names listed under persons. Conzinc Riotinto of Australia Limited [CRA] resulted from the 1962 merger of the Australian interests of the Consolidated Zinc Corporation and Rio Tinto Limited. The Riotinto-Zinc Corporation [RTZ] was formed simultaneously in London. Additions to CRA Oral History Programme Prof. Howard K Worner was Professor of Metallurgy at the University of Melbourne 1946-55, Dean of Engineering 1953-55 before moving to industry as Director of Research at BHP 1956-62 and Director New Process Development CRA 1964-75. HKW continues following retirement at Wollongong University Microwave Research Centre. |
