| George Netherway, who collected this material, was an advertising agent in Ballarat, first with the firm to whom Ronaldson and Tippett contracted their advertising and publicity, then as advertising and publicity manager for Ronaldson & Tippett. He died in Ballarat 5 April 1999, aged 87. Photographs (negative and print); register of number codes for booklets and photographs; advertising correspondence, including radio (3BA) and provincial press; ledgers, journals and other account books; odd price lists, brochures etc. for Ronaldson & Tippett, Guldner, Hahn, and Wisconsin brand products; correspondence with Melbourne University Appointments Board re placement of students and graduates; certificates and ribbon; memorandum and articles of association; balance sheets; consultants' reports on management and shopfloor processes in the period immediately before winding up. Most material 1930s-1960s. |
