Twenty-eight glossy prints of photographs taken at a Reunion of University of Melb. graduates held at the Royal Society of Medicine, Chandos House, 2 Queen Anne Street, London on 9 August 1983. Also numbered list of photographs with names of people in each. Photographs are numbered and the names on the list have been transferred, in pencil, on to the back of the photographs. A copy of the invitation from Vice- Chancellor David Caro to graduates to attned the reception, and a copy of the attendance form accompanies the photographs.
The University of Melbourne Archives Photograph Collection consists of individual photographs about the University from a variety of miscellaneous sources assembled into an artificial series. It was established to control the many photographs about the University donated to the Archives with scarce details of their provenance. More well documented photographs of the University are kept within their individual collections rather than added to this series. |
