| Papers in this collection were collated by John Lovering during his professional life. They relate to diverse organisations, boards, committees, and projects with which he was a member or advisor. These include Southern Rural Water (SRW) (2001-2007), Murray-Darling Basin (1988-2003), URS Project (United Researches Services abbreviated its title c1968 to URS) (1989-2007), Adelaide University City (1994), Blue Water Dam (2005-2006), UniWater Board (2004-2010), Melbourne Water Supply (2005-2006), and the University of Melbourne’s School of Earth Sciences (2008-2010). Papers in the collection comprise of reports including the ‘Water supply-demand strategy for Melbourne 2006-2055’ (draft copy), groundwater management plans (copies), ‘Water Resource Options Draft Report (copy), and papers relating to the Yarram Water Supply (1989-2007). Other items include University of Melbourne, School of Earth Sciences Australia India Strategic Partnership Research Fund Advisory Panel (AISRF) initial grant applications (2008), proposals, and applications for assessment rounds three and four, working papers, media releases and correspondence. |
