UM268. This accession covers the period of Frank Horace Johnston's service as Registrar. Born in Sunbury, Victoria in 1902, Johnston was educated at Melbourne High School and Melbourne University, graduating B.A., B. Com in 1923. He was appointed University Accountant in 1928 and Registrar in 1947. He served in this position until he retired. He died in 1978.
