Student notebooks can provide an insight into the way that engineering has been taught in the University over time. UMA holds engineering notebooks from 1878 through to the 1950s. However, it has not been UMA policy to systematically collect student notebooks. The collections of lecturers, the departments and faculties and the Office of the Registrar (which contains University correspondence) all provide further material on the teaching of engineering.
