The Melbourne University Engineering Students' Club was formed in 1889, originally as the Engineering Students' Society. The club continues today. The Melbourne University Mining and Metallurgical Students' Society was formed in 1932 at the suggestion of Metallurgy Professor J. Greenwood. |
