Office of the Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir David P. Derham Working Papers 1967-1977. Derham was born in Melbourne and educated at Trinity Grammar School and Scotch College. He entered Ormond College at the University of Melbourne in 1938 but his studies were interrupted by the war and Derham enlisted attaining the eventual rank of Major awarded an MBE for his service.
