Wright, Professor Roy Douglas

Biography: Wright was born 1907 and educated at the Universities of Tasmania and Melbourne. He became Senior Lecturer in Pathology at the University of Melbourne 1934-38 and Professor of Physiology 1939-71, Deputy Chancellor 1972-80 and Chancellor from 1980. He was medical Director of the Peter MacCallum Clinic 1971-75 and a consultant to the Howard Florey Institute from 1975. He served on various boards and committees during his career.
