Momot, Chris
Biography: Chris Momot was one of the women who joined Queen Victoria Women's Centre Inc. (q.v.) to lobby for the establishment of a Queen Victoria Women's Centre as a safe and convenient place for women. After Premier Kennett established the QVWC Trust to oversee a completely new process, Momot, like many others, dropped out and became actively engaged in other women's community campaigns.
