Efkemann, Elka
Biography: Elka Efkemann was born in Germany in 1952. During the 1970s she was active in both the Women's Centre and the Lesbian Centre in Bockum, Germany. After she moved to Australia in the 1980s she joined the Lesbian Bushwalkers Group and Lesbian Line, the phone support line for lesbians. She worked with the support group, the Womens' Repetitive Injury Strain Team in the 1980s. This collection is No.69 of the Victorian Women's Liberation and Lesbian Feminist Archive
