| These volumes are records that were kept by Blake & Riggall relating to the management of the firm’s own business operations, in addition to aggregated records of their management of clients’ business, financial and accounting activities, such as deed registers managing legal documents relating to clients’ properties, rights or interests, and mortgage and rent records of clients’ properties. Among the volumes are journals, ledgers, cash books, account books and various types of indexes and registers. Some of these record types have integrated alphabetical indexes in their front pages which can be used to locate relevant information within. There are several sequences of volumes that belong to sets of more than 10. Some of the volumes have other relationships. For instance, the Indexes to Mortgage Registers provide an alphabetical index to searching the Mortgage Registers. |
